SP-Arte 2025
02.04 — 06.04.25

For the 21st edition of the SP-Arte fair, Superfície is presenting a selection of works from its repertoire – Ana Maria Maiolino, Cybèle Varela, José Leonilson, Rubens Gerchman and Mira Schendel – as well as works by two recent representations: Ana Amorim, an important name in contemporary conceptual art, and Luiz Alphonsus, a forerunner of landart in Brazil. Stand C5 also features two works by Pedro Escosteguy, whose production is fundamental to the history of Brazilian avant-garde art. Finally, there are works by Antonio Dias, Carlos Zilio, Carlos Cruz-Díez, Hélio Oiticica and Maria Leontina. The careful choice of works reflects the work that the gallery has been doing in the market in recent years: developing the careers of contemporary artists, while at the same time looking at historical artists, especially those who worked around the 1970s.
